CYC Armada Heads to the Rock n’ Docks

The first annual, Bill Murray “I’m Sailing” Regatta held on Saturday August 29th at the Cleveland Yachting Club was a real hit amongst the sailors. The “race” started a little after 11 am off the mouth of the Rocky River and concluded at the Rock n’ Docks next to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

There were water balloons, squirt guns and plenty of beverages to keep people hydrated. It was a truly great event that brought back some familiar faces to the sail fleet and I hope it becomes a staple of the racing season. Sailboat racing can be taxing on the body and mind so it is important to have occasions, like yesterday, where the only goal is to have fun. Thank you to Tom McNeill of Overkill for organizing the event and allowing me to join them.

Here are some pictures I took during the event.
